Congratulations to Schenectady High School Junior Morgan Hughes who was named in a winner in Capital Repertory Theatre's third annual Young Playwright Contest.  Her ten-minute play, Curiosity Killed the Cat, will be produced on the REP stage this summer as part of the Summer Stage Program.

Hughes, who will work with professional and produced playwright Suzanne Bradbeer, will be invited to attend rehearsals this summer and have the opportunity to work with the directors and actors who will bring her script to life.

The Summer Stage performance dates are August 10-13.  Hughes, along with five other young playwrights, will be honored with The 2017 David and Mary Ann Campe Young Playwright Contest Prize at the opening night performance on August 11.
