Congratulations SHS Track Team

Six runners and two Schenectady High School Relay Teams placed Monday at the Section 2 Championship meet held at the University of Albany SEFCU Arena.  Among those eight were four individual champions. 

Congratulations to Maazin Ahmed, Colin James, Trebor Davis and Mary Liebers, who were each named Section 2 Champions in their events.

Ahmed took first place in the 1600.  He is also a member of the 1600 Relay team, which won second place.  

James earned the top spot in the Triple Jump.

Davis took first in the 55.

Liebers earned the championship for the 1500 Race Walk.

Keegan Cocrane took second place in the 600.

Schenectady also had two third place finishes with Lamont Walters in the 300 and the 800 Relay team.
