SHS Wrestler Capture Section 2 Championship

Congratulations to Schenectady High School Senior Wrestler Deyker Edwards who recently achieved a long-term goal by capturing the Section 2 Championship. Edwards took first place at the State Qualifying tournament, with a 9-4 victory over Danny Jada of Burnt Hills, this past weekend at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
Coach Chad Languish said thathis wrestler achieved this goal through hard work and dedication.
Edwards will compete in the New York State Tournamenton February 24 and 25 at the Times Union Center in Albany.
