Congratulations to D'Zhane Dukes and Gwyen McGrail who, today, learned that they are each recipients of a bronze medal for their entries in the FCCLA Star event that was held in March in Owego, NY.
Dukes, a senior, was the lead cook in a food innovation project. She and assistant, Harmony Thompson, created a taco stuffed bake potato with a shrimp option.
McGrail, a freshman, received a bronze medal for her creation of a protein bar in the nutrition category.
